Overview

Kalahari

Located about 12 miles from the Botswana border, and 137 miles from the nearest town of Vryburg, the Kalahari lodge is situated on 5000 acres of hunting area in picturesque and remote region of the North West Province of South Africa.

While guests are not enjoying the pristine amenities of the luxury thatched lodge, they have access to 18 hunting species that graze freely on the farm.

Both rifle and bow hunting options are available, while photographic safaris can be arranged for guests who prefer to shoot with their cameras.

The hunting area also offers the opportunity to pursue the great African Lion. (this option is only available to non-American clients whose countries permit the import of lions from the Republic of South Africa).

The secludedness of the Kalahari is what makes this hidden gem so special. The Kalahari is home to more than 350 bird species, vast
numbers of camel-thorn trees and a variety of game animals, big and small.  Known for the most spectacular starlit skies and distant Jackal cries,
one night in the Kalahari, next to a crackling fire, will forever leave your heart longing back.
